Hello, I thought I would share the Snowman Christmas card I made this year. I really loved the Snowman Magic and Snowman dies and I am very sad that they were retired. I was inspired my the display card in the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog to make my Christmas cards this year. I like the 3D effect that the Stampin’ Dimensionals gave this card. I used Evening Evergreen cardstock for the base. I cut a panel out of Evening Evergreen also which I used the die to cut – this created the border with the snowflakes. I made another panel out of Balmy Blue (one of my favorite Stampin’ Up! colors!). On this panel I stamped the “It’s the most magical time of the year” sentiment in Versamark and heat embossed it with copper embossing powder. I cut a snowbank out of the Snowy White velvet sheet (sadly also retired). I stamped the snowman, his arms, and the bunny with Momento ink and the hat and scarf in Evening Evergreen ink onto Basic White cardstock using the Stamparatus. Then i used the dies to cut them all out. Although it looks complicated, I used Multipurpose Glue to glue the snowman together. I added a splash of color with Stampin’ Write markers – Pumpkin Pie for the carrot nose and Petal Pink for the bunny ear. I used Multipurpose glue and attached the snowbank to the frame. Then I used glue around the outside edge of the frame and attached it to the Balmy Blue background. I added glue to the back of the snowman and tucked him under the snowbank but tucked in between the snowflake so he kinda looked popped out more. Bunny was attached with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional. I attached the entire panel to the front. I added a Basic White panel inside for us to put out Christmas greetings in. Of course, I don’t like to leave envelopes naked so I stamped a snowman on the front in Momento ink. I hope you enjoyed this project as much as I enjoyed making it. Today was National Great Outdoors Day. I really meant to get this blog post done much much earlier but the day got away from me. It has been unusually warm
