Last year I made this adorable Christmas card using the Snowman Season stamp set and the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper. It is definitely one of my favorite Christmas cards I have made so far. The paper was just gorgeous! The snowmen in this set always make me think of playing in the snow as a kid! Great Minnesota memories!!
This card is actually pretty simple when you break it down. The base for the card, I used Night of Navy, is 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″. The front has a piece of Designer Series Paper on it that measures 4″ x 3″. I tied a ribbon in a simple knot. I find it very useful to use mini glue dots to hold it in place. There is another set of layers on the front. I also used Night of Navy for the bottom of this layer, which measured 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″. It is topped with another piece of the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper measuring 3″ x 4″. I stamped right on the paper which is another great technique.
The inside is done with a White layer stamped in Night of Navy ink. It measures 4″ x 5 1/4″. There is plenty of space left to write a personal message to the special person you are sending the card to.
It could easily be done as a Christmas card using the Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper. The Peaceful Place paper is also stunning – I am certainly drawn to trees!
You could easily adapt this layout to any occasion – just change up the stamp set, paper, ribbon and/or colors or copy this Christmas card using the Snowman Season stamp set. I can’t wait to see what you create! Please share your creations using this layout in the comments below.
